– Novagard® G623 is a grease-like material formulated with select polydimethyl siloxane fluids in combination with inert, amorphous silica fillers. Useful as a general purpose, water repellant coating, or sealant to prevent corrosion. Similar in many aspects to G624.
– Applications: Novagard G623 is a generalpurpose compound that is formulated specifically for use as
a water repellant coating to prevent corrosion, especially in critical applications that require good dielectric properties. G623 offers superior corrosion protection to many metal substrates. Proven compatibility with a wide range of plastics and elastomeric materials. Conforms to the requirements of 21 CFR Section 178.3570 “Lubricants for Incidental Food Contact.” – Appearance: Translucent paste – Penetration (worked 60X) ．Test Method: ASTM D 217 ．Performance Range: 200-300 – Bleed ．Test Method: 200°C / 24 hours ．Performance Range: 5.0 % maximum – Evaporation ．Test Method: 200°C / 24 hours ．Performance Range: 3.0 % maximum
